About Us

Our Story...

In 1969, Bobby & Jane started out on an adventure that has carried them through more than 40 years of marriage, 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 3 careers. In 1967, Jane was 17 and Bobby was 19. Their endearing relationship has allowed them to work together as partners in various capacities.They opened Jane's Seafood Restaurant in 1976 in Holden Beach, NC and operated it until 1990. They sold Jane's only to return after 20 years, bringing along their kids and grandkids. After opening Jane's Seafood Restaurant for a very short tenure in Shallotte. Bobby and Jane decided to incorporate their seafood with their BBQ restaurant. Now, you have the best of both worlds. So come try some of Bart's BBQ (named Brunswick County's Best BBQ for the last 3 years) and Janes Seafood, now together in one location. Can't wait to see you there!
